Fusion Dog

Tom and I chose this sauteed Hot Italian Sausage in a freshly baked jalapeno, cheddar cheese roll for our dinner the other evening. Of course, you can use any kind of sausage that fits your taste buds but we like spicy, flavorful foods. We buy our sausages at the local co-op which is like a mini Whole Foods Market where they make their own sausages and have different varieties available depending on the day you shop. I added a fresh tomato, lettuce, Alpine Lace cheese, pickles with Dijon mustard and mayo. Tom likes his with lots of fresh chopped onions and spicy Dijon mustard. It's a quick, easy meal to put together and a real treat for us. On days when we play duplicate bridge and get home in the late afternoon, we like to make dinners that are not a big production. This was it.
