Last night we were too tired to cook an elaborate meal. But we happened to have some homemade andouille sausage from the local Co-Op, a pair of jalapeno-cheddar buns baked at the local Safeway and a can of organic baked beans from Trader Joe's. Plus we had a bottle of Renwood Old Vine Zinfandel just waiting for the opportunity to be decanted and enjoyed.
We sauteed the sausage, browned the buns, heated the beans and assembled the dish. It was Hot Dog Heaven. Afterward we finished off a couple of the paleo Brownies left over from yesterday, enjoyed a cup of Sleepy Time tea and read until Morpheus beckoned.
